Birchbox: February Review

If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that I have been a fan of Birchbox for a long time. For any of you who don’t know, Birchbox is a beauty box subscription service that delivers beautiful products straight to your door every month and I have had subscriptions on and off for the last few years. As my most recent subscription has come to a close I thought I would take the opportunity to do one last review and share with you the gorgeousness of February’s box…

This month Birchbox collaborated with the stationary and design company Papier to provide a special offer and a beautiful box design. I was super happy about this because not only can I buy some pretty things from Papier at a reduced price but on the back of their offer card was a beautiful quote from F.Scott Fitzgerald, who wrote The Great Gatsby. I am a sucker for a meaningful quote so this was a lovely addition to the box.
As always there were lots of lovely goodies inside this month’s box, including a full-size Spectrum Collections Marbleous C06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush (that was a mouthful!) and a POP Beauty Mini Eyeshadow Palette in Champagne Mocha. Unfortunately, I have eczema so I am unable to use any products on my eyelids, but I will certainly be finding another use for this beautiful brush, maybe for applying concealer? I will keep both of these products in the hope that I will be able to use them in the future, they are too lovely to give away (sorry to any of my friend reading this!!).
My favourite product in this box was actually something I have received from Birchbox before and loved and that is the NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Oil. It is a multipurpose oil that can be used on your body, face and hair and it smells AMAziNG! I tend to use it on my hair after I have dried it and it leaves it looking so shiny. I one hundred percent recommend trying this out, you will not be disappointed! This box also contained the Beaver Professional Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray. I have only used this once so far but it seems to really nourish my dry, frizzy hair and I am looking forward to seeing what effect it has in the long term.
Lastly, all the way from Korea, I received a KEEOME Mask (Hydration Mask Therapy). I am really excited to try this as I know that a lot of Korean beauty products are supposed to be far more advanced than our British ones, we shall see…
I have loved my Birchbox subscription and I would really recommend it to anyone who loves to try new products. It makes a brilliant birthday or Christmas present, for those of you who may already be planning!! It is definitely one of those gifts that just keeps on giving. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and enjoying the sun.
Love Holly x
