Let’s get this out of the way, we all know that all I’m trying to do with this outfit is make a tribute to Harry Style’s legendary millennial pink suit; the look was legendary so why wouldn’t I be. With that aside, this may surprise you but a pink suit is an addition I have been wanting to make to my wardrobe for a while now. It was never going to be an outfit piece I wanted to spend a lot of money on because, let’s face it, unless you are Styles himself then a pink suit isn’t the most wearable day to day outfit, so when I found one on depop (of course) for under £10 I was thrilled. It just goes to show statement clothes needn’t be pricey, despite making you feel a million dollars. It seems a win-win situation to me!
Suit – Primark (via. Depop) | Top – H&M | Belt – Vintage from a Mind Charity Shop | Shoes – Dr Martens (1461)
I am really enjoying sharing all the different types of clothes I am loving wearing at the moment, and as I alluded to in last week’s Q&A, this year I am hoping to try and give you a more rounded look at what I am wearing. This means more Style Files and more Outfit Diaries, especially if they are going to include secondhand clothing! Who knows we may even put together a lil video (if laptop storage will allow) and of course there will be the joy of some trips to the Vintage & Pre-loved Kilo Sales to report back on. I have a good feeling that it is going to be a great year for my personal style and I can’t wait to see where it takes us, so why not hop on the journey with me?

Do you like a statement piece (or two piece!)? I don’t have many of these sort of pieces but always feel so good when I’m wearing them, I mean surely you can take on anything in the pink suit of dreams? If that’s not enough “tailoring” for you for one day, check out last year’s statement suit in this post.
