Since beginning this blog, I have always shown outfits by themselves. It has always been a close up look of one style, in one moment. Looking back through the archives I couldn’t help but feel that these posts, whilst great for single inspiration and showing my absolute favourite looks, aren’t actually very representative of my ‘everyday’ style. Cue the week in outfits post, a real look at what I am actually wearing and loving every day of one week (well, the working week at least!). I hope this gives you a better idea of what I am currently loving and if we like this then maybe we could make it a monthly thing. Let me know what you think!

One combination that I love is a statement top, shoe or both, combined with some classic high waisted blue jeans. Jeans are one of the absolute staples of my wardrobe and are surprisingly easy to dress up with a ‘girly’ top and some pointed boots. This is my go-to style for working and I love it, before you ask I do work freelance so everything is a bit more chilled out when it comes to clothing! What’s your go-to work outfit like?

Day 2
T-shirt – Next (Mens)
Jacket – Thrifted, originally from Windsmoor. Similar here.
Jeans – Topshop
Trainers – Nike
A day or running around meant that today’s outfit needed to be quick and easy. Cue yesterday’s jeans, a basic black t-shirt (a men’s one for that perfect boxy fit) & one of my new favourite vintage jackets slung over the top. Quick easy and combined with the comfiest trainers from Nike, no-on was going to stop me getting everything done today!

This is my evening outfit for a concert my choir was doing for charity. Our ‘uniform’ is black bottoms and a coloured top, but this time I decided to mix it up and use this beautiful vintage white silk shirt that I got that day in the vintage kilo sale. Feeling very chic indeed, and the concert went pretty well too!

On days when I don’t have to be anywhere my favourite thing to wear is this denim jumpsuit, it is an instant outfit in itself and means minimal thinking for a day at home! No comment on the socks, hahah!

Day 5
Top – Next (Mens)
Jacket – Thrifted, unknown make.
Jeans – Topshop
Shoes – Muji
Hairclips – Amazon
This is quite a ‘sporty’ looking outfit for me, and not something I’d normally go for. However, I had a few new items – namely these shoes of dreams (read about my quest to find these here) and this adorable vintage, American bomber jacket – that just needed an outing. I love this monochrome look and this is definitely an outfit that I know I will wear again and again.
I have really enjoyed recording my outfits for the past week or so, and I hope it has given you a bit more of an accurate representation of what I like to wear day to day, or maybe even some outfit inspiration and ways you can use pieces you own to create new looks.
What was your favourite outfit of this week and can you guess which of these was my favourite?
