Recently I have been trying to experiment with my style a bit more and make it just a bit more fun, I mean life’s to short to wear boring clothes, am I right? It has been a really enjoyable process and has made me see that dressing casually doesn’t have to mean slobbing around in jogging bottoms (my arch enemies) but can actually allow you to express yourself in a different way and have a whole lot of fun at the same time.
I have always loved slogan tees, there is something so bold and direct about them. I have, however, always struggled to find one that gives off the exact vibe that I want to radiate to the world, well at least until now! I picked up this lovely number from H&M and as soon as I set my eyes on it I knew I had to have it. I call it my ‘motivational’ t-shirt and it is so me. As you can see I like to style it with blue jeans for a more off-duty look, but you could totally tuck this into a little black skirt and rock it that way.
You can never go wrong with a pair of Topshop jeans. That is what I find myself constantly saying to anyone who will listen. Their fit is great and the stretch is out of this world, especially on their high waisted numbers. This pair of Mom Jeans give off all the 80s vibes and by styling them with a vintage belt even more so. I adore these jeans, they are so comfortable and versatile, those 80s mum’s sure knew what they were doing!
Who else knows what they are doing? I’ll tell you who, Converse. They are a brand that I love and I have had these creamy coloured Converse for what seems like forever and a day. I love styling them with this vintage cardigan by Amaranto, they go so well together. Buying vintage knitwear is great because the quality is incredible, for example this cardigan is 100% wool and 100% perfection, all I had to do was roll up the sleeves and voila! The perfect spring cardigan.

I am really enjoying playing with my style and if you look in your wardrobe and don’t like what you see, don’t wait for it to fix itself, let’s do something about it! Have that spring clean you have been putting off, overhaul those black clothes and buy those whacky trousers that you have had your eye on. Spring is the time for out with the old and in with the new, so let’s go. What are you waiting for?
Love Holly x
I love slogan tees too! they kind of emit the kind of attitude inner me has but is to shy to show! So I'm gonna take your advice and start shopping for more now and change up my wadrobe
